“The king is invincible”, as demonstrated in The Volume of Gong Yang, King Zhou was ever-powerful winning all battles. The king's invincibility and mightines are also described in The Poetry, "No one dares to withhold their tributes to the king, and no one dares to disrespect the majesty worshipped by all." The polar bear at 2.5 meters tall and weighing 800 kilograms, is an explicit representation of a powerful king. The bear hunts sea lions, seals, and fish; even the large Beluga whale is its prey. This stone sculpture shows a polar bear hunting fish swimming in the river. This work is made of Shoushan stone measuring 71 centimeters long and 46 centimeters wide. With the bear's towering prowess over the fish and its surroundings, Master Li Heng-Yun has succeeded in portraying the polar bear as the Rulers of the Frosty World.
